Year #4 everyone, here we are.

Listen, I get it, but what's your alternative right now? CNN? Washington Post? Fox? Think of this as a respite from the onslaught of glum news you're hit with on a daily basis. We're here for one reason only, our resounding love of Christmas music. (Or because I've guilted you into reading this. Either or.)

Last year we made it to Day #20 of the countdown leaving us with just 5 days to finish. Is it doable? Yes. Will I do it? History says no, but this is a time for hope not pessimism. With that in mind, here's the plan:

• Introduce what's new in Christmas music for 2018
• Analyse some interesting trends in Christmas music
• Finish the Countdown

What happens if we finish the countdown? Checkla 2020? Perhaps. Until then, grab your headphones, light your tree, and get ready for our 4th Annual Christmas Music Countdown.
